Long, lustrous and silky hair are trade mark of many, especially females. A female’s hair are her best natural accessories to carry and obviously show and even compete with her same sex friends. But if you are amongst those 60% of the females, who is suffering / with hair problems, then you know the shock of being less haired over your head. The major problem is that the hair loss in females is considered as a taboo in society and this adds to salt into bounds of the females suffering with hair loss or hair thinning problems. Women themselves do not feel comfortable in openly discussing their problems, however, men can openly discuss openly and thus able to try on several treatment options including treatment of hair loss using medications, etc.

You are not the only woman, who is suffering with hair loss and feeling difficulty in openly discussing and finding resolution of hair problems. According to a clinical analysis, one in every four women is suffering with hair problems. Females also keep worrying, why hair loss happens?

The causes of hair loss in woman can be any, like; harsh hair treatments, hormonal changes during pregnancy, or the menopause. Stress and unhealthy eating habits also lead to hair problems. Sometimes, hair thinning in females may be genetic. The hair thinning as a genetic factor normally occurs between 18 to 24 years of age.

The most common form of hair loss due to genetic or other medical factors is alopecia androgenecia. This is the sort of hair problem in which the hair becomes extremely thin so that one can see through it. Alopecia areta is another form of hair problem that normally starts as tiny bald patches but may result into total hair loss, if not taken care of. If you can believe it, almost one quarter of the world population is suffering with some type of hair problems. And any sort of hair problems in females affect self confidence and sometimes, may even lead to anxiety and depression.

The first step in settling any sort of hair problems is, distinguishing the nature of hair loss you are suffering with. There are a number of treatment options available for treating hair problems, depending on the kind and severity of problems. Your doctor may suggest you some oil / cream / lotion to apply on your scalps. If hair loss is due to hormonal or hereditary or due to some other serious health problems then your doctor may prescribe you a variety of medications.

Besides getting aid from a health professional, you also can take care of your hairs to avoid hair loss. How??

Here are given some tips and tricks to prevent you from bad hair days.

1.Analyze your diet. Nutrition plays a vital role in keeping healthy tresses. Lack of essential vitamins and minerals and proteins etc may switch hair problems. Ask your doctor / nutritionist for help.

2.Opt for loose and comfortable hair style. Give up the hairstyle that introduces tensions in your hair follicles. For example; tight ponytails, chignons and plaits.

3.Avoid layered cuts as these create misapprehensions of more vigor.

4.Do not use in large the heated hair styling tools, such as; tongs and straightening irons, as these may create strain and breakage of hair.

5.Use wigs and hair extensions or use hats, scarves and funky jewellary to draw attention away from your hairs.

6.Ask your hair dresser to monitor your hair growth, but not become obsessed about it.

7.Stress is a major trigger to hair loss. Try to stay positive.

To start the discussion on oily skin care, it’s imperative to first understand the cause behind oily skin. Put simply, oily skin is a result of excessive production of sebum (an oily substance that is naturally produced by skin). As is known to everyone, excess of everything is bad; so excessive sebum is bad too. It leads to clogging of skin pores, resulting in accumulation of dead cells and hence formation of pimples/acne. Moreover, oily skin spoils your looks too. So, ‘oily skin care’ is as important as the ‘skin care’ for other types of skin.

The basic aim of ‘oily skin care’ is the removal of excessive sebum or oil from the skin. However, oily skin care procedures should not lead to complete removal of oil. ‘Oily skin care’ starts with the use of a cleanser. However, not all cleansers will work. You need a cleanser which contains salicylic acid i.e. a beta-hydroxy acid that retards the rate of sebum production. Cleansing should be done twice a day (and even more in hot and humid conditions).

Most of the oily skin care products are oil-free; however, it is always good to check the ingredients of the product, before you actually buy it. This is especially important if a product is marked as ‘suitable for all skin types’, instead of ‘oily skin care product’. ‘Oily skin care’ is also dependent on the degree of oiliness, if you aren’t too oily, so some of these ‘suitable for all’- type of products might be work for you too. For extremely oily skin, only oily skin care products are suitable. Your oily skin care routine can include an alcohol based toner (for an extremely oily skin). This can be the second step in your oily skin care routine i.e. just after cleansing. However, excessive toning can harm your skin.

The next step in your oily skin care routine can be a mild moisturiser. Again, the degree of oiliness of your skin will determine whether you need to include this in your oily skin care routine. If you do decide to include a moisturiser, be sure to use one that is oil-free, wax-free and lipid-free.
You could also use a clay mask (say once a week) as an oily skin care measure.

As far as the oily skin care products go, you might need to try out a few before you arrive at the one that is really suitable for your skin.

In case these measures don’t give you the desired result, consult a good dermatologist for advice. He could prescribe stronger oily skin care products like vitamin A creams, retinoids, sulphur creams etc , which can help counter the problems of oily skin

From the perspective of a patient, I have good results with homeopathy for detoxification. Although the results are not immediately and lasted for some time, it is my experience that homeopathy works to help clean my body of toxins. Homeopathy for detoxification is a method by homeopathic doctor (patient) diluted agents that prescribed in undiluted doses similar symptoms in healthy people. This approach is comprehensive and uses doses of natural substances, without harmful side effects. Homeopathic medicines should be prescribed according to their needs. Her homeopathic doctor should be looking for a personal diagnosis.

The remedy is simple and step by step. What happens is that the doctor look for a homeopathic remedy for a certain period after the test and allows you to monitor the results to be achieved. Your selection can be adjusted, if necessary, after this period. This continues until it is completely healed.

Homeopathy can help to detoxify the toxins from internal and external. All we know is important to have clean and detoxify the body, promote long term health and well being. A body that is well balanced the body, mind and soul. The toxins can alter this balance. They are invaders, illness and depression, leading among other things, can and must be removed before health can be restored. The toxins may be internally or externally.

Your hair is your crowning glory. Look after it and it will shine for all the world to see. You don’t always need expensive treatments, or visits to a hair salon to manage your hair professionally. There’s so much you can do yourself.

1. For shiny, healthy hair think first of your body’s intake. Your hair is really just a reflection of what you are inside. A good balanced, nutritious and healthy diet will do more to make your hair shine than any shampoo or conditioner. And drink eight to ten glasses of water a day too; hair is 25% water, so don’t let yours go thirsty!

2. Dry your hair after washing in the ambient temperature of your room after using an absorbent towel to soak up the excess moisture, but don’t rub hard. If possible, don’t use blow-drying, flat irons, curling irons or hot rollers. Artificial heating will leave your hair brittle and damaged in time. Be natural whenever you can.

3. Prevent unnecessary hair damage by using the right kind of hairbrush. Only comb wet hair with a wide-tooth comb, combing from end to root, but avoiding touching the root. Detangling wet hair with a hard steel comb can create a lot of damage, so don’t!

4. Remove trichoptlosis, or split ends, like this: take small sections of your hair and carefully twist them in a gentle downward motion. The split ends will stick out. Using sharp scissors, carefully cut into the twisted section, but not right through, to remove the damaged cuticles and leave a natural layered look. Cut roughly the same amount from each twist to balance the effect.

5. Hair loss can be slowed, or even reversed by applying a few simple tips, though they probably won’t cure an underlying condition. Biotin can help to regenerate hair follicles: blend bananas with honey, yoghurt and low-fat milk, and drink it daily. Supplements such as Vitamin B6, zinc and saw palmetto will help too, but eliminating stress and getting plenty of sleep may work just as well.

We are all obsessed with our hair, whether we are 9 or 90, male or female. Look after yourself first and foremost and your hair will reflect that care and attention. The Biblical Samson’s strength lay in his fine flowing hair. Your hair reflects your strength too

Sweat is bodys natural defense to maintain the body temperature. Sweat normally contains water, and very small amounts of salt, urea, sugar and ammonia. By sweating body cools itself of the heat that may get generated because of outside temperature, physical work, and emotional stress. Some diseases can also cause sweating. For that you should consult your doctor.

Over and under sweating- some of us may suffer from over sweating (hyperhidrosis) or very less or no sweating (anhidrosis). Very low sweating may be life threatening, while over sweating may sometimes be caused by some severe body problems.

Types of sweat- our body has two types of sweat glands- eccrine sweat glands and apocrine sweat glands. Eccrine glands are distributed all over the body. Apocrine sweat glands are located on the scalp, armpits and the genital area. These glands do not produce much fluid. Sweat is generally odorless. Most of the times, it is the bacterial disintegration of sweat of both the types that produces odor.

To avoid odor because of sweat, the best method is to keep skin dry. Good hygiene will not allow bacteria to develop and multiply. Change of clothes after sweating is another method, because clothes carry sweat and can cause odor. If you have excessive sweat or are getting troubled by sweat, please consult your doctor who may suggest different methods that may include use of antiperspirants, botox injection, Iontophoresis and in rare cases surgery.

Sweat is not a big problem for most of us. It is the odor that is the bigger irritant. Keep your body clean at all the times and take basic care and you will find most of the problems disappearing. Deodorants do not reduce sweat but only mask the odor with fragrance. the need is not to mask but to stop bacterial disintegration of sweat and if sweat is excessive, to consult doctor and get treated.
